About

Making everyday water plant operations easier to run.

Bottle Flow is being built for the people who actually run packaged drinking water plants (owners, managers and the person at the gate), rather than for the accountant who sees the result three weeks later.

The problem we started from

Small and mid-sized water plants run on real discipline and very little software. The work is already being recorded, in registers, notebooks and spreadsheets, but the records are separate, so the questions that matter take a day of reconciliation to answer.

The numbers live in four places

A purchase register, a production diary, a sales book and a payments notebook: each correct on its own, and none of them agreeing at the end of the month.

Stock is a guess until someone counts

Nobody knows how many cases are ready to sell, or whether there are enough caps to run tomorrow, without walking the floor.

Outstanding is discovered too late

A customer’s balance surfaces after the next dispatch has already left, not before it.

General software doesn’t speak the language

Accounting packages record amounts. They don’t know a case is 24 bottles, or that a run consumes preforms and caps.

How we build it

Four rules the product is held to.

These aren’t values on a wall. Each one shows up as a decision you can see in the app, and each one has cost us a shortcut somewhere.

01

Record once, use everywhere

A single posted entry should update stock, balances and reports together. Anything that has to be typed twice will eventually be typed differently.

02

Never show a confident wrong number

If a figure could not be loaded, the app shows nothing rather than a reassuring zero. A wrong number is worse than a missing one.

03

Correct, don’t overwrite

Posted transactions are cancelled or reversed rather than edited away, so a month can still be explained six months later.

04

Your data stays yours

A lapsed subscription pauses new entries. It never deletes the records you have already built up.

Where we are

Early, and saying so.

Bottle Flow is a young product. We would rather describe it accurately than dress it up: the operational chain (purchases, production, inventory, sales, payments, reports, team roles) is built and working, and we are onboarding plants one at a time so we can sit with each of them through setup.

If you run a plant and something here doesn’t match how your operation works, that is worth a conversation. Those conversations are what the roadmap is made of.

Start with a 14-day trial. No card is needed to try it, and nothing you record is ever deleted if a subscription lapses.
